Fusion AE 9.6.0 Released
The Fusion AE 9.6.0 software suite has been released. This version of the Fusion software includes advanced pH modeling capabilities and the following Quality-by-Design reporting advancements;
The Graphical Optimizer activity has been completely rebuilt with the following new features/functions:
- A dynamic new user interface (UI) in which the static wizard settings controls are now embedded in the UI, and changes to the controls immediately update the Overlay graph in real time.
- The user is now able to scribe an operating space onto the proposed Design Space overlay graph which demarcates the optimum conditions and the safe operating ranges of the graphed variables. Verification runs are automatically derived from the operating space, and the user can add additional verification points.
- A completely new reporting function has been added in which the user can save multiple versions of the graph as independent named reports.

Academic Collaboration on Fusion Inhaler Testing
S-Matrix Corporation is pleased to announce a new collaborative effort with the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the University of Bath. The collaboration, done in association with S-Matrix's U.K. distributor CI Informatics, will focus on the application of Quality-by-Design principles to Inhalation Device Design and Inhaled Drug Product Formulation. Under this collaboration the research group at Bath University will utilize S-Matrix's Fusion AE Informatics Software platform — Fusion Inhaler Testing Q.C. and Respiratory Drug Development modules — to support several ongoing respiratory drug R&D projects.
